THE REDHEAD PROJECT is an ongoing series of personality portraits of natural-born redheads. Each photoshoot is a collaborative process between photographer and subject, resulting in portraits that tell redheads’ unique stories.

The project began in 2013 as a marketing tool to showcase Keith’s versatile, collaborative work style and ability to authentically capture his subjects personalities, whether simply through fleeting, candid expressions and or through the integration of thoughtfully selected props and clothes chosen by the redhead for their personal significance to contribute meaningfully to the storytelling.

This project is much more than a portrait photography project —it’s a community. It is as much a labor of love as it is of skill.

Participants find us via word-of-mouth, social media, and media publicity and complete an application process designed to acquaint us with the redheads and provide a springboard for creative collaboration.

We urge redheads to approach and embrace the application process as fun. The details are all about them and what makes them special— aside from their red hair! It’s a unique opportunity to share their unique stories with us and our community of followers.

Watch our two-part video presentation to learn how you can join in on the fun by telling your story and joining our community.

THEN send us your photoshoot concept proposal.
